Browser window size

Each time I open a new browser window it opens in half-
screen mode. After I have maximized the window it often
reverts back to half-screen mode by itself. How do I get
it to stop doing this? It is very annoying.

Hi Ted,

Try stretching the window to the desired size using the mouse. Don't use
the "Maximize" button. Then close the window.

The stretched window must be closed last.

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window last.
