Hi, I am having trouble with the default search on the
browser toolbar, is there a way to delete it? It keeps
bringing up a website "ilook.com" and has taken over the
browser, I change the homepage only to have it change
right back to ilook, if anyone can help I would really
appreciate it...Thank-you in advance!!John

Mike, I have tried adaware and spybot but I am still
having trouble, it is like the I-Look.com replenishes
itself, I run spybot, remove all things found reboot and
run it again and find about 5 items again, and this goes
on continually...any other suggestions?

Download the iLookup uninstaller from here:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/ilookup_kill.exe

Manual Removal:
http://doxdesk.com/parasite/ILookup.html

Also, use Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) to scan for any other spyware.
* Update the pattern file first, using "WebUpdate" feature *

Hi,
"any other suggestions"
Yup .... just like it states on the page, after scanning your machine
finish up with HijackThis ......

Also stated in that page was "How To: Prevent this from happening again"
re: Restricted Zone, and HOSTS file .....
