Phil

I am trying to setup and internet account, using the
username and password supplied by the ISP, I am able to
establish a dial-up connection, but when I try to open the
internet explorer browser I keep getting the Page
Currently Unavailable message. No matter what I try to
resolve the issue I constantly receive the same message.
Can anybody help?

I vaguely recall that problem. I called my ISP and it
was a problem they were able to magically fix. I forget
how, but the moral of the story is: you don't say whether
you asked your ISP about the problem, so if you haven't,
it can't hurt. (And yes, they realize that they can't
usually talk to you and have your computer connected at
the same time.)

Cheers,
Ken

Check your system for "hijackware":

You *must* seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each and every
use, even "right out of the box". But even then, they can't catch
everything. When all else fails, HijackThis
(http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
your files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or the Spyware forum at
http://forum.aumha.org/ for expert analysis, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

I have spoken to the ISP, the call centre is in India, and
the calls cost one hell of a lot, plus it isn't my phone
line that is incurring the cost.
