I'm testing some pages using my browser. Where is the setting in the browser
or on the PC (XP) which controls the way visited links are displayed. I know
where they are in frontpage. I would like to reset the setting in my browser
so that I can see what a modified page looks like for a user who is visiting
it for the first time.
Thanks for any replies.

It's in the HTML code, not the browser or PC.

Under Page Properties, in Frontpage, change the link colours there, or use
CSS.

It's also a browser setting as well, though pretty well hidden.

In IE, go to Tools | Internet Options to bring up the Internet Options
dialog. Then select the General tab and click on the Colors button. This
will let you change the defaults for visited and unvisited links.

In FireFox it's almost the same procedure except you look for a Fonts and
Colors button on the General tab.

Hope this helps,
