I am in major need of help...I have tried to contact
various help and have not received any solution. I bought
a new computer and had to send it back to the manufacture.
I set up my old computer and it was working okay, but I
think maybe a file got deleted. When I am in a web site,
i.e. yahoo, I will get small boxes with a red "X" inside.
Where the box is, is where an option to choose that
option, in other words you could click on the item and it
would take to somewhere or show you something...I checked
with yahoo and they said to check with microsoft because
its internet explorer, I went online with microsoft and
filled out there support pages and it wants me to contact
the manufacture of my computer, but the problem seems to
be Internet explorer...can anyone tell me how i could just
reload everything I need for internet explorer and then
hopefully all will be working fine..I am taking online
class in college and must take 2 exams by this Sunday but
I cannot see the items because of my problem...HELP>>>

Hi Ruth, I'm no computer whiz, but I get the same thing on some
sites when I tighten up my security on my Win98. Check your security
settings in Internet Options to see if you've blocked mobile code.
(scripting, Java script, Active X) Blocking one of those might be
causing it. Hope this helps.

A good site in general, which is the Henri Leboeufs' homepage for the first
link I provided.
