Tony

I'm running internet explorer 6 on windows 2000. Recently I'm finding that
links on some web sites do not work, for instance on my home page if I use
the search engine and say 'go', nothing happens. I know that these links
work as I have checked using another pc.
I gussing that something has changed on my settings but I don't know what.
Can anyone help ?

Tony,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
