Browser Problem

I have several identities on my PC (Windows 2K) and recently when I have
visited some websites under my main identity the pages do not display
properly (this affects Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera etc). Symptoms
are:

a.. You can see some of the HTML code at the top of the page
b.. Links/pop up windows don't work/open
This only happens at certain sites AND when I change my logon to a different
user ID on the same computer there are no problems with these sites.
Has some spyware changed a setting for my main identity. If so, how do I
change it back? I sweep my PC regularly for spyware. Help with this
problem much appreciated.

Thanks

This continues to be a somewhat strange problem as it subsequently cleared
itself for several days and then came back again. I found some further spy
parasites but their removal did not seem to coincide with the temporary
righting of the fault. If there are any further developments/solutions, I
will report back to the group.

I have finally hit this one on the head! The problem is caused by the
protection software Webwasher. Temporarily switch the program off and the
problem goes away.
