Windows XP browser problem

i have got zone alarm security suite, mcaffe antivirus 7.1, webroot spy sweeper 3.5
system mechanic 5 professioanl
os:xp professional
browser:mozzila firefox 1.0.4

the problem is that sites dont open according to the speed alloted to me
they take a lot of time to open but updates happen at the alloted speed
and so do the downloads from peer to peer networks happen at the alotted speeds
i use cable

So downloads are ok, but sites take too long to load?

It may be the server you are connecting to is slow, even though your internet connection is fast.

what sites are slow ? is it all sites ? what company do you get your connection from ?

problem solved

but the problem is solved
zone alarm was blocking the browsers from opening sites
by blocking all cookies
the problem was kind of stupid
