Browser only opens on task bar, not on screen

All of a sudden my browser when I click on it to open, shows on the task
bar, but not on the screen. It never used to do that before. I have to
click again to get it up and running.

Try the following and see if it helps:

Clearing the TIF Cache -

Safely Delete the Temporary Internet Files

Hi,
When you right-click the button on the taskbar, there are options for "size"
and "move" right? Experiment with Size first, using the arrow keys on the
keyboard. Then, if necessary, try the Move option with the arrow keys. Your
window is probably very small, maybe just a few pixels, and might even be
off the screen. Once you can see it, drag it out to the desired size and
make it the last IE window you close.
