Darren
I have a computer which locks up on ie6 and ie7.
Running XP service pack 2 plus all updates. 5 users, four of which are
running perfectly with no problems.
The fifth user opens explorer, find the home page no problems can go to
approximately 5 or six sites and then locks completely. Only way out is ctrl
alt del and logoff user.
Also you can only open one browser window. you try to open another and it
locks up instantly. I have tried ie7 and same problem. I have uninstalled
and reinstalled ie7 and problem still remains.
System is running Norton Internet Security 2007 which is fully up to date. I
have run adaware, search and destroy and a-squared and system is clean.
I am convinced that it is only one simple tweak of a registry setting.
Anybody got any advice?
TIA
