browser limiting hotmail

on only one of my pc's (recently built) when i attem to
login to hotmail, i get this msg. -> Your Current
Software Will Limit Your Ability to Use Hotmail,
recommends 4.0 or higher. I am running 6.0 with sp1. any
thoughts??

Temporarily disable your firewall and any third-party "system" tool
(anything by Norton or McAfee) and see if doing so makes a difference.

lol, hell, that was it....Nortons Internet Security
thx man...course turning that off isnt gonna be worth an
extra click to get to hotmail. I dont think. Any ideas??

Several of these are known to cause problems:
1) Zone Alarm Pro [Private Header Info - enabled]
Turn off "Ad Blocking" and "Cookie Control" in ZAP (Privacy Advisor)

2) **Symantec** [Enable Browser Privacy - enabled]
Active Content - "Allow All Script To Execute"

3) Any "ad blocking" software that blocks "http_referer"
or contains entries that are blocking access to the desired site.

4) HOSTS file that contains entries that are blocking access to the desired
site.

5) Cookie blocking software that are blocking "required" Cookies.

6) Pop-up blockers that are stripping header\url info.

7) WebWasher Standard Filter/URL Filter
