Hi guys,
Have I am running Xp home sp2, 2Gb Ram, 1.1Tera Bytes of HD, using Epox
9NDA3J board with an AMD Athlon 64 3500+. My browser IE6 is so slow, I use
outpost firewall, set up to give IE6 all rights. When I first boot up it
seems to be ok, but after opening a few URL's it takes ages for the web
pages to open, slow to such a point I reboot my computer or restore it to
try and speed it up. I have shut everything down in my systems tray
including the firewall but this doesn't seem to make much difference, I am
using a network with two computers( and have always)on a D-link DSL604T
modem but not configured for wifi. Any ideas as to what is slowing my
browser down ? The reason for the Wifi modem is so that my son can use his
X-box 360 pm the net. My problem still exists even when the Xbox and link
is switched off.
Any ideas guys, you help is appreciated
Thanks Guys
Regards
Bob
