Browser Home page chages

Every time I shut down my computer my home page chages to
a findu.net I am not sure where this program resides that
changes my site since I can not see it in my add and
remove programs and spybot does not pick it up.

I am tired of my home page being changed when I boot down.
I am running Windows 98 with version 6.0.2800.116 of
Explorer.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
In your case, if Ad-Aware and SpyBot S & D don't cure it be sure to check
the Dealing with Coolwebsearch and affiliates section
If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
