Browser history clears when I open pop up window

In my application I have few form fields and a button for
help.
If I fill this form and go to next page and then come
back to this form page using browser back button, I find
this form filled.

But problem happens when I fill the form, I open the pop
up window and then go to next page. When I hit browser
back button, my form is totally empty.
This i observe happenning only when I open this help
window.

Is there any tip, what might be missing?
BTW when I open the same scenario in Netscape 7.1, no
problem at all

Tools | Internet Options | Advanced
Scroll down to the Security section and uncheck "Do no save encryted pages
to disk".
