While running IE6 today, my browser was hijacked. IE now
goes to address: res://C:\Windows\system32
\shdocpl.dll/security.htm#subID=MPV;401
When I try to send a report to Beta MS AntiSpyware, I get
the following:
The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input
using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then
click the Refresh <javascript:location.reload()> button,
or try again later. An invalid character was found in
text content. Error processing
resource 'file:///C:/Program Files/Microsoft
AntiSpyware/MSSSRT.xml'. Line 15, Position 156
<StartupFileRegistry ex="1"
path="HLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"
val="Cpqset" dat="C:\Program
Files\compaq\cpqsetup\cpqset.exe
Won't let me send it to them for a response. Any
thoughts. Running spybot, MS Anti and Mcafee, all up to
date.
