Occasionally I get an "Error on page" when I click on a link. I have turned
off the pop up blocker, but the problem persists. What can do to get
around this? Windows XP Home.

On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:

Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You need to Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.

2... You need to be sure your system is clean from malwares and Viruses by

Reboot your Computer and try the links.
Note the space between regsvr32_urlmon.dll and netsh_winsock_reset ( _ =

Do you have any third-party toolbar installed?.
