Browser crashes after trying to save image

I just installed the Microsoft Antispyware program but
I'm still having a rather significant problem. Maybe
others of you are too. Whether I'm using Outlook Express
or Windows Explorer or Netscape Navigator, if I try to
right-click on an image and click "save as..." the
browser immediately closes down without giving me a
chance to save. Any ideas on what to do? I figured this
was a spyware program. Maybe a new virus? I did a full
virus scan and my PC came up clean. Help!
 
Yes I ran the full scans in safe mode also. Apparently
my PC is completely free of viruses and spyware so I have
no clue what's going on with it.
 
Well ....you can uninstall MSAS

You can do a system restore.

You can do a system file check............ run/sfs /scannow

You can do a repair install

You can restore to your system backup.......You do have a system backup?

Or you can backup your critical files, format and do a clean install.
