Browser closes for no reason

I am using Windows 98 with IE6 and when I go to certain
websites the browser just closes down without opening the
website. Why is this and why only certain websites. Does
anyone have a solution for me.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
 
I tried what you told Jenny but my browser is still having
the same problem as Jenny's. I've run AdAware and Spybot
S&D both, but when I go to certain websites, my IE browser
window still closes. Any ideas? =)
