I can connect to the Internet but when I open my browser
(IE6 or Netscape) the page appears completely blank...
Would appreciate any ideas...

How have you determined that you are connected to the internet? Have you
tried pinging an IP address or a domain name? What is the URL you are going
to? Possibly your home page web site is down.

Thanks for the response...
Definitely connected to Internet, tried dialup and cable,
web page opens and have tried several different URLs, all
just blank white pages when I open a browser...

Can you ping a web site by name? Open a command prompt and type:

ping www.google.com

You should get a reply. If not, try pinging by IP address like this:

ping 216.239.53.99

Post back the results. If you're using Internet Explorer, go to Tools>>
Internet options>> Security Tab>> "Default Level" button>> Apply>>
Advanced Tab>> "Restore Defaults" button>> click OK
