Browser bar gone

I'm not sure what it is called but the bar where you put
in a url and then press go is gone and I cant find it.
I've tried everything. How do I get it back?

Under IE> View> Toolbars, Address Bar is checked, right?
Try...
Right-click on your toolbar and uncheck "Lock the toolbars." Grab the
"handles" on the other toolbars and move them around- up & down as well as
sideways. The address bar should appear.

If unsuccessful with that, try IE Toolbar Fix (a REG file) from the Internet
Explorer section at http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/index.html
