I saw some posts related to this error, but none of them apply to my
situation. I am seeing many anomolies in my network, and think this might be
part of the disconnects we're experiencing.
Unfortunately due to the limitations of instruments I have on my network, I
have to support several older computers and old operating systems. Right now
I've got 3 widows 98 machines that consistently get disconnected from the
network. The server on the network where they're trying to acquire their
data on is getting Browser 8032 errors every 2 hours. Note that this server
is NOT a domain controller.
I have 2 domain controllers both on W2K SP4 and the secondary domain
controller also has these errors. I did a browstat on the DC that's
experiencing these errors and am getting several itterations of this:
Status for domain AKAN on transport
\Device\Nbf_NdisWanNbfOut{B7B88830-0EE0-4390
-A257-F4D17EC61D97}
Browsing is NOT active on domain.
Master name cannot be determined from GetAdapterStatus.
Then I'm getting these other entries that are really concerning me:

Athena is the PDC, and Petra is the SDC. Other servers listed aren't really
servers at all.
So what is my next course of action to try and remedy this problem?
