browse location to add a file

Hi,

I have a question to ask. What i was trying to do here is to be able to
prompt user for the location where they want the new file to be. For example,
the file hasn't existed yet and is going to be created but the database needs
to know where the user wants the soon-created file to be so that it would
save the file into that directory location. I think it would be more like
when you need to install some software out of the package and it would ask
where to store the file. As soon as you browse for the desired location and
hit ok, it adds all the files to that location (need a browse button). I know
it would be easier if we know the location and can hard code it beforehand.

My question is if there are such codes i can use to accomplish this.

So you want to browse for a folder?

API calls look a bit ugly if you've never used them, but the are mostly
copy'n'paste.
