Brother MFC-5440CN

I won't buy another brother EVER!
I have a 3420C the print head failed under warrenty and had to be replaced,
it's now failed again (out of warrenty) it only prints black and white. They
insist on doing alot of head cleaning so they empty the ink cartridges very
quickly, even when you do nothing with them. I only use it now as a scanner
(because it has the sheet feeder), when it stops scanning it'll be in the
rubbish
 
You made my point. Multifunction devices are no good. If one function
goes bad you have a large expensive brick.

Thank you for your responses. Looks like I won't be buying that Brother.
