I once mapped a drive on a machine on my home network by
referencing its name as
\\thatothermachinebyname\sharename. Since then, my
router DHCP has issued thatothermachinebyname a different
IP address. I can connect to thatothermachinebyname's
shares if I specify the IP address, but not by using its
name... "Network path... could not be found".
Is there a way to purge known other machine names from my
local XP machine? I've tried route -f to no avail.
