I put images to images folder and now I see a lot of broken links (1000). How
can I repair links ?

try tools/ recalculate hyperlinks.

How are these images being used (the ones you put in the /images folder)?

This message was posted from an unmonitored email account.
This is an unfortunate necessity due to high volumes of spam sent to email
addresses in public newsgroups.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

And how were they "put into the images folder" Did you use the File -
Import command within FrontPage, or did you just use Windows Explorer to
copy them?

I am trying to repair broken links also on a web site that I inherited. The
previous person was asking about repairs and you said to try
tools/recalculate hyperlinks. Is there any reason that I shouldn't try this?
It won't change anything that I have replaced in the web site will it.

Recalculating Hyperlinks, deleting temporary files and cache files
rarely does any harm, and sometimes cures the broken links problems
(depending on why they appear to be broken).
The deleting operations are easily performed using FP Cleaner obtainable
from http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm

If the above does not cure the broken links problem, then use
View->Reports->Problems->Hyperlinks
