Other than avery.com and AbiWord, I cannot find a site that offers
brochure freeware. A friend needs a tri-fold brochure made up for her
whatever,

In leau of an app. if you don't find one, you can make nice tri-folds by
simply using a 3 column table in a .doc set to landscape. I once did that
for a project and the results were nice. Not sure if Abiword does tables
within tables. But you can get kewl layouts for a brochure with creative
tables and embedded graphics. The biggest pain was folding all the
freaking things :)

AFAIK it is freeware with a twist: you cannot add your own label definitions
to it. But if you use Avery of compatible lables, knock yourself out...
A good friend of mine sell avery *and* compatible labels, so I rather use
the package often.
