Broadcom UndI MESSAGE

My system started locking up. I powered off and when it
started up it tried to load
Broadcom UNDI, PXE-2.1
It was looking for a Client Mac Addr:
reported No boot filename received
Then exited Broadcom PXE Rom
and then stopped after printing
invalid partition table.

What is Broadcom UNDI? and Is my boot partition table
defective?
