Hi,

I have 173 clients that I would like to send a news
letter on a monthly basis. How can I distribute the news
letter without have 173 names in the "To" section?

The eassiest way is to create a distribution list (saves
you from selecting everyone everytime). If do not you
create this distribution list on the Exchange server but
in your own Contacts folder make sure you place the
distribution list in the BCC field

Hope this helps!

Hi Again,

So, if I am not using the exchange server and I put the
dustribution list into the Bcc, what do I put in the "To"
section and will the "Bcc" see each other's name when
they receive the email?

Thanks

Hi Carolyn,

If you are mailing internal clients you can leave
the "To" field blank (it is an optinal field but at least
one of To, CC or BCC must be used).

If you are mailing externa clients you can leave the To
field blank as well although some ISP's do not support
this because of "spam paranoia". If this is the case just
put your own name in the "To" field to workaround this.

Please note that when you send external clients a maximum
number of recipients per message can be set by your ISP.
To work around this just send more then one message or
use Mail Merge from Word.

Hope this helps!
