It would be useful to know what kind of broadcast: TCP, UDP, ICMP,
etc? What source and destination port numbers and IP addresses, etc?
A sniffer, router or firewall log can tell you that. www.kerio.com or
www.sygate.com are two firewalls that can tell you this as well as
which executable is generating the network traffic.

If you're sure these are related to worms, then update your antivirus
with the latest update from the manufacturer, and run a scan.
www.grisoft.com is free antivirus, if you don't have any antivirus
installed. [Running a scan from http://housecall.antivirus.com can
also help detect the virus name but not necessarily protect against
reinfection.]

Once you have the virus name, if the antivirus was not able to fully
remove it, go to the virus encyclopedia on their web site for manual
removal instructions or a tool and information on what patches if any
you need to install. Sometimes patches don't get installed correctly
the first time.

For Blaster / Welchia / Nachi viruses, you want to go to
www.microsoft.com/technet/security and click on Blaster for more
information and the patches you need [most notably MS03-039]. Removal
tools for these viruses are available from www.symantec.com and
www.mcafee.com
