broadcast mail

I am trying to send a Broadcast Mail using Outlook and
the mail merge from Word. Because I have a huge Contacts
folder, is there a way I can simply mail the merged
document to a distribution list rather than trying to go
through each of my contacts one by one?

Mail merge to Word is *by far* a better solution, even if
it takes longer to send. Using a distribution list could
very well run up against anti-spam limits either on your
mail server or the recipient's.

Yes, that's quite a different question. Office cannot mail merge to a distribution list and send individual items to each list member. There are third-party tools that can do this -- see http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm#massmail.
