Hi Karl.
I had a call from telstra yesterday, letting me know that we now have
"BROADBAND"!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH !!!!!!!!

It is the same price as dial-up, but, with less MB downloads. (200)

We have to have a new modem which costs $120, but, they give the first 2
months "FREE" and, in that 2 months, I can download as much as I like.

"JUST WATCH ME GO"

rep has the brainpower to use Usenet, not even via dejanews/google.

Trust me on this, over the last couple of decades they've been required
to downsize, using voluntary redundancies, which means, of course, that
all those staff with a clue have left.

The only reason they have a (barely) functioning NNTP server is because
the girls and boys at TRL know where all the skeletons are kept.
