Chris

I am having trouble networking from my laptop (with a
wireless connection)to my desktop at another location in
my house.

I have the broadband network utility set-up and am able
to remotely access the internet on my laptop (through the
desktop computer/router/broadband modem).

My problem is when opening the broadband network utility
on the desktop, my home officer computer does show-up as
a device on the network, but I am unable to open it to
view shared files. According to the broadband utility
instructions, I should be able to double click the device
in the utility list and obtain files from other computers.

I have checked and confirmed all the network settings to
the best of my ability. The workgroups are the same and
everything.

My office computer does show up on the utility list, but
when I double click the icon, it appears to be doing
something(by the hourglass) but ultimately doesn't do
anything.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your network connections are working just
fine.

Have you enabled the various folders as shared on the
target system? How many folders did you share?
