Have no firewall except xp. Just removed m32.blaster.worm
virus 2 days before it slowed down, and just had to
remove it again - ran patch again. Restarted computer
but it is still slow. Takes half a minute to get to each
site, at least.
Also can't send mail from outlook express - comcast says
that trouble comes from outlook express and I need to
remove it and put it back on, but I don't know how to
save my messages and addresses if I do.

First ... you need a firewall. XP provides one. You evidently were not
using it properly else you would not have been affected by blaster. Get
the firewall working soonest else you will have blaster again (maybe you
still have it).

Did repair the blaster damage properly?

I doubt problem is due to outlook express. You can un-install and
reinstall it via Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs then press
"Windows Components" tab on left. Uncheck OUtlook express, reboot, then
go back to same window and intall it agaain by checking it. I'm pretty
sure it really doesn't do a full un-install re-install, but it might fix
your problem ... who knows.

Your outlook message files won't be lost by the program
install/reinstall. However, please make sure you make a backup (which
you should have anyway).

Most important: get the firewall working properly. Read how in "Help".
