Broadband Speeds

Hi everyone,

Quick question. Ive found a wireless internet provider over here which isnt too expensive and doesnt require contracts etc. 5Gb downloads which is more than enough for me etc. But the basic package at $35/month is only 256k speed. Will this be enough to use webcam? I know i can use MSN etc fine on that speed, but will webcam be unusable? its $50/month for 512k.

we ordered highspeed from a company called Qwest (a local service and phone provider) and they charge us $37 for a 1.5MB ADSL connection. But im not to sure if thats a intro price. Good speed for us :D
Does webcam really need that much bandwidth?
 
I dont have a phone line mate so this saves me having to have one installed etc cause its only going to be for a few months.

That was my original question mate, does anyone know if webcam required a lot of bandwidth? What do you think guys?
