i have windows xp with 3 seperate accounts. i used to have
blueyonder internet (a cable connection) and was able to
access it through each user account. i have since
installed broadband and i can only access it from the one
user account. i have tried copying the blueyonder icon
onto the other accounts, but it still tries to access the
internet through the cable connection. any ideas

This may be a dumb response but ave you changed the
settings for the connection on all three accounts?

I have found that XP is very good at detecting Internet connections without
the aid of any additional software. If you have a router (and you should),
you can input the user password that your ISP gave you into it and the XP
machine should instantly recognize the connection without having to put any
additional software on the machine.

Each user account should have its Internet Connection Settings set to
Automatically Detect Settings (under the LAN configuration dialog box).
