I am absolutely sick to death of seeing everything in US English. I want to know how I can change it to UK English or when/if Microsoft will release an updated version that does support my language. Seeing the word "customize" is slowly driving me insane

Thank You.

And Canadian English too please!

Is Canadian English written as British English, but spoken as American English?

Kind of I suppose. Canadian english nowadays is a merger of american and
british. Sometimes both forms are accepted (such as color and colour) by most
people.

Then forgive me, but surely American English is fine on your Computer

Not quite. close enough, but there is a difference for some words, though I
can't think of any off the top of my head.

Do you speak with a Canadian or British or American or French or Other (please specify) "accent"?

While this is fascinating, I would be more interested in a fix
Does anyone have any information further to this?

You could try to purchase the UK version of Windows XP.

Also, you might block-quote the messages to which you are replying.

I have bought two copies of Win XP, from different [UK] shops, both have been American.

There is no fix. If you want the UK version you have to buy the UK version.

Have you actually seen a "UK" version of Windows XP?

Where on Earth From?

And No, I've never seen a UK version of Windows XP, despite it being listed under supported languages at Microsoft.
