We have an old program that I no longer have the install disk for on an old
NT Box. I would like to copy this program onto two other systems that are
running 2000 and the other XP. It's a really simply program that consists of
an .exe file and a .pwd file. When I copy the two files onto the new
computer, I'm able to run the program, but my problem is that when I try to
enter the user name and password and hit enter, I get an error saying that
it can not locate the password file.
Are there any suggestions on how to fix this or something else that I should
be looking for?
Thanks!

Are there environmental variables the old program set? Does it need to run
in a certain directory (check the old machine's shortcut and see if it needs
to start in a specific directory). Are there registry values needed by the
application? Without details on the specific application you're referring
to, it's difficult to troubleshoot.
