Windows XP Brightness setting problem for 2495 and other wm5 devices

Hello I am using “\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\BackLight“ registry setting to set the brightness of device through my C# application. It is working fine for 38xx and 22xx series devices but it is not working for 2495 device. Again for DELL X51 device, I need to do soft reset to reflect the registry changes but 2495 device will not reflect the changes after doing device soft rest too..


Please help me to solve this problem.
