Windows XP Brightness help...

When I play online games, all the stuff is really dark. Sometimes to the point where it is so dark that I cant see anything at all.
My brightness for the monitor is at 100%.
What can I do?

ps: I dont know much about computer terms or what stuff I have.

Do you have an LCD monitor? (One of the flat ones?) If so, they usually have problems with brightness in some games.

Your best option might be to go into the in game options, and look for a brightness setting - almost all games have this. If you bump it up 10% it should work fine. I have to do this in a few games myself
