A colleague is creating a presentation using PPT '97/SR-2 under WinXP.
The computer uses the latest Excalibur driver (3.6) from ATI for the
Raedon 9000 video card (128 MB video ram).
When editting images from Corel (PhotoPaint) and Adobe (PhotoShop)
products, and probably others, they appear with a bright pink/magenta
color. I thought a driver issue for the video card may correct this,
but to no avail.
When displayed in the "slideshow", it appears with the correct color.
Also, the correct color is displayed when printed. It's only during
the editting phase when things don't appear correctly -- and it makes
it difficult to change colors on things!
If anyone could help, it would of great assitance. A reply to
(e-mail address removed) and/or (e-mail address removed), in addition to the newsgroup,
would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Armand
