using
XP pro
dell precicion workstaion with 2gig Xeon
dell Latitude PIII 750mg
Using briefcase, I was trying to synchronize files from desktop to laptop
across a network.
I created a briefcase in my \\laptop\shared files\ directory. I successfully
copied and updated small files from c:\desktop\shared files. I then tried
copying a large directory (c:\desktop\shared files\my pictures(2.5 gig, 5000
filees)) of files to my briefcase, only to have it repeatedly crash or error
message.
Is this directory too large for briefcase?
Is there a better tool or means for syncing this large of a directory for
use on both computers and having the second function of acting as a backup?
