I have 4 PCs. Two of them are upstairs and the other two are downstairs in my house

Two of them are on wireless and the other computers are on a wired network. Right now they are on seperate networks. I would like to combine them. I have heard of Bridging Networks would be possible. However, how do I connect the four computers to be on a single network? Do I have to attach any cables to one of the computers upstairs

Please explain?

Sam,

If you have a bridging option on your wireless access point, then that would
bridge the wireless and wired networks so the wireless computer would be
accessible to the wired and vice versa

For bridging the 2 networks without extra wiring, I think you'll have to
install a wireless card in one of the wired pcs then create a network bridge
between the wireless and wired Network Connections on that pc.
(You don't describe what hardware each of your mini networks uses to talk to
themselves, routers, hub/switch, wireless access points.)

I have it works this way...down side is the network with your DSL
modem must on in order for other network for internet. Like netA must
be turned on for netB to surfing if netA has the modem.

netA Win XP hardwired to wireless router and bridging setup.
netB Win XP connect to wireless USB adapter, bridging setup and
hardwired to other pc. Note this XP can also hardwired to another
wireless router for further expand your network.
