does anyone know how to re-install the MAC Bridge Miniport in the Network Connections area? I had problems with my ISP and they told me to delete it. I am able to connect to the internet at home, but when I am traveling, my laptop will not detect the settings to allow me to connect on other broadband ISP's. I never had this problem before deleting the MAC Bridge miniport. thanks for any help.....

You need to select 2 different network connections, right click then select
the "bridge connections" option in the menu. On my system it's the firewire
1394 connection plus the NIC.
I had problems that required removal of the bridge for broadband use because
the MAC address used for connecting was the bridge one rather than that of
my network card. NTL require authorization by MAC address.
IMHO, I can't see why you should be blaming the network bridge removal for
your problem connecting to other broadband ISPs, it could be something else.
