Just took off some spyware that managed to get on to my laptop. When I
start my computer up I now get an error that says "WINNT\DOWNLOADED PROGRAM
FILE\BRIDGE.DLL" AND IT IS UNABLE TO RUN. I look in the folder but see
nothing I am comfortable with removing Also checked the registry and
nothing there. Any suggestions. The computer seems to work fine otherwise.

BRIDGE.DLL does not appear to be an XP file.
Scumware!!

It is known as Scumware. Visit these sites. Download, install, run, update

Bridge.dll is used as part of spyware. What happens after the program is deleted by AdAware or SpyBot SD, the pointers remain. The easiest way to clean it out is to use HiJack This. The program gives you a log sheet and the folks at Computer Cops can then review it and tell you which lines need to be fixed, which HiJack This can do. They can be found at http://computercops.biz

It worked for me.
