I have no idea what caused this to happen but when ever some one logs onto their account for the 1st time during any particular session, they get a error window that says RUNDLL in the upper left hand corner. The actual message itself state

Error Loading C:\Windows\Download Program Files\bridge.dll
"The specified module could not be found.

I click on OK and seem to work fine afterwards. I have no idea what the potential impact is. Once the OK has been clicked, the account can be switched back and forth with other accounts without this message reappearing. It appears only after the initial logon to EACH account defined on my PC. Maybe I simply have not invoked anything yet that would be impacted as a result of not having this module. Maybe I'll be impacted eventually - a problem waiting to happen. So what is the actual impact concerning this problem and what can be done to resolve it ? Thanks in advance.

Bridge.dll is used as part of spyware. What happens after the program is deleted by AdAware or SpyBot SD, the pointers remain. You will get, then, an error message on start-up as XP can't find the spyware but is still being goosed by the pointer. The easiest way to clean it out is to use HiJack This. The program gives you a log sheet and the folks at Computer Cops can then review it and tell you which lines need to be fixed, which HiJack This can do. They can be found at http://computercops.biz

It worked for me.
