Hi,
I have my WIN2K server (IIS live on the web) set up with the software mirror
in place and am thinking of breaking it to use the other disk for normal
work (the primary drive is getting full) and because I heard that the WIN2k
mirror is not the best... I am thinking of just using some 3rd party
software that takes snap-shots of drives and doing an automatic daily backup
to another machine on the network. The server drive I am talking about is
only 9 gig (old drive) as such the copy should be pretty easy to do since
drives today are so big... IF I go down for a half hour it won't kill me and
my other alternative is to set up a new server and make the painful
migration ...
Any suggestions? Any pitfalls I should be aware of?
Thanks,
Stef
