I am brand new to Access and hvae never used it really before in my life. I
am currently teaching myself a bit of Access and have been reading Access
2000 for dummies.
One thing I am confused with though??!!
The book explains how to create tables, create queries, reports etc but how
do I make the database look nice....I will explain.
I take it in Databases you have a front end and the back end. Say for
example you created a database for your company and you get a temp in to
data input, how do you get your database so when you get double click on the
database it loads the nice presentable screens that the temp can just enter
the info. When I click on a test database it just brings up the screen with
the menus at the side (Tables/Forms/Queries etc)
I have notived some of the example ones have Switchboards, what are these as
the book does not cover these??
Hope you understand what I am getting at!!!! Sorry.
