Hi guys and gals,
I've just got a brand new PC with XP Media Centre on. Reading the leaflets
that came with it, it seems I may be able to put my camcorder movies onto a
CD. I don't own a new camcorder, it's about 6 yrs old it has on it -
Panasonic RX64 VHS-C Movie Camera (PAL).
Included with the PC are various cables, one has the plugs I would use to
attach this camera to my TV if I want to record movies onto a video tape.
The cable has red and white plugs and on the camera says 'rf out'.
So I start up Movie Maker (version 5.1 Build 2500 xpsp2) and when I go to
Capture Device it hangs! Great start eh?!
I've read the other messages here regarding hanging MM but as this PC is
brand new and I haven't installed any new Codecs I'm wondering why this
program won't work?
Also, as my camera isn't a new digital one, does anyone have any idea how I
would get my movies onto the PC for burning onto CD?
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions offered, I appreciate any
help given
Kindest Regards
Lisa
