I'm the system administrator for several independent
small companies.
On one of them I has problem connecting the branch office
to the server at HQ.

On the HQ I have a SBS 2000. The ISA connects al clients
on HQ and branch office to internet. The network looks
like this

Internet
|
|
SBS-server (WAN IP 193.69.208.9, LAN IP 10.0.0.1)
|
|
|------------- Eth to PC's, printer's at HQ
|
|
VPN router (LAN IP 10.0.0.3)
|
|
xDSL & Internett
|
|
VPN router-B (IP 192.168.200.1)
|
|
PC29 (DHCP, get IP from VPN router-B)

The VPN connection is established and OK. The PC29 pings
the SBS-server, and the SBS-server pings the PC29 with
normal delay. I ping by IP address. If I ping by name, I
get no response.
ping PC29
ping pc29.home.domain.no

The PC29 can not or got extremely slow connection to the
server resources, as exchange, shared maps and files.

On the server I have set up "Routing and Remote Access"
in this way.

Routing and Remote Access
SBSERVER (local)
IP Routing
Static Route
Dest = 192.168.200.0
GW = 10.0.0.3
Interface = Local

On the ISA I have set up LAT in this way

ISA (Internet Security and Acceleration Server)
Servers and Arrays
SBSERVER
Network Configuration
Local Address table
10.0.0.0 to 10.0.0.255
192.168.200.0 to 192.168.200.14

The problem is that the pc to the poor man on the branch
office gat none ore slow response to the server. The PC
is new and has Win XPpro. The Outlook 2000 does not get
connected to the Exchange server. The response is
extremely slow when he tries to reach shared folders.
When he, ore the PC29 is browsing the Internet the
traffic is forced true the ISA on the SBS-server. The VPN
routers are configured to do so.

I administrate the two VPN-routers by IE. When I enter
the url by the IP address to the VPN-router on HQ from
the SBSERVER, it takes some seconds before I get the
logon window. Strange, it's on the same LAN as the
server.

I set up the pc on the branch office, and it works fine.
The day after it did not, and that's two weeks ago. When
the phone ring, and I se his number I got nervous. Does
someone have any suggestion?
