Boxe's with red X's

After a web page loads sometimes there are small boxes with a red
letter x in them.Just noticed these recently. Does anyone know the
cause . Any help would be appreciated.

If you feel the need to e-mail me change junk1 to ed as in
(e-mail address removed)

Since this only happens sometimes there is probably nothing wrong with your
setup. The pictures can be missing due to an error in the html on the web
page, a slow server, a format not readable by your browser, etc.
